From a glossy Kodak filmstrip to a magnum gold, which looks like the toxic-colored sculptures of the American artist Jeff Koons, are in reality the work of Crtomir Just. The Slovenian designer has taken slogans and names of various branded products particularly seriously for his The Goldrush Project and has modeled them in 3D. The result is precious gold 3D artwork to hang on the wall.
With the help of the 3ds Max, Zbrush and V-Ray programs, a simple cigarette turns into Marlboro Gold, a white, green and red Haribo literally becomes a golden bear, and the 35mm film Kodak Gold also lives up to its name for the first time. But as they say: It's not all gold that glitters - or maybe it is!
The 3D artworks can be seen as 70 x 100 centimetre motifs in the Slovenian gallery Plac 33/45 in Ljubljana. The glamorous prints are also available in different sizes in the online shop of Society6.
