Gucci is a lot of things, but not boring at all. The Italian fashion house has radically changed its image in recent years. For example, it was Tom Ford - who gave Gucci old-fashioned glamour - and Alessandro Michele, who staged the fashion label much younger and led to a “new eccentricity”. The “Gucci and Beyond” campaign seems to be another star that attracts attention on the social web.
Gucci, under the direction of Creative Director Alessandro Michele, will be presenting another exciting campaign for the autumn/winter of 2017, including a film entitled Gucci and Beyond, after the tenderly colourful melancholy over the rooftops of Berlin and the new production of a sequence from the film “Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo”. Here you can find the Director Cut, which takes about 1 minute:
A production in which Gucci fashion plays only a secondary role
In fantasy worlds, models, aliens and robots meet each other, which play an important role alongside Gucci fashion, as well as dangerous creatures. Star Trek fans in particular will be pleased to hear about beaming aliens or the title-giving stone monster from the episode “Horta saves their children”.
The galactic spectacle was conceived by Alessandro Michele, of course, but the campaign motifs were staged by the photographer Glen Luchford. The Gucci Creative Director seems to have been inspired by distant galaxies, or to be more precise, both the campaign and the fashion are reminiscent of classic sci-fi from the 1950s and 1960s.
What do you think about the Directos Cut or The “Gucci and Beyond” campaign by Alessandro Michele and Glen Luchford! We are looking forward to your feedback via Facebook or Twitter. Feel free to leave us a comment.
