After Balenciaga presented Demna Gvasalia, a new creative director who knows how to appeal to the star feeling of the Millennials, things are going damn well for the French fashion company. This is also shown by the joint cooperation with the Japanese retailer Isetan, which now has a Balenciaga Pop-up Store for around a month - and offers a lot of exclusive Balenciaga products for its visits. These include a pair of bright green flat sandals worth around 600 euros.
According to the Japanese fashion press, in addition to the current S/S18 collection there will also be a previously unseen training jacket, matching trousers and a shopping bag and clutch. The absolute highlight, however, is the “Pool Flat Sandal” by Demna Gvasalia, which is made of fine kidskin. In the front of the forefoot, the Balenciaga logo is emblazoned in white letters.
If you are interested in the Balenciaga flat sandals, you have to expect a purchase price of 73440 YEN, as about 600 Euro. But you don't have much time to think about it, because from February 7th the limited Balenciaga products are available on Isetan's website - presumably only for a short time.
